The Duty to Promote Race Equality: A Guide for Schools—A Product of the Commission for Racial Equality in the United Kingdom

This guide was produced in response to the Race Relations Act of 1976 and to the statutory Code of Practice on the Duty to Promote Race Quality that came into effect on May 31, 2002, following approval by Parliament. The guide supports the code and was written mainly for the governing bodies of educational institutions.
